Colony Christmas Parade - Palmer, AK

11 December 2010 - We drove up to Palmer for the Colony Christmas Parade, fireworks, and a nativity display at the LDS church up there.  The parade lasted about ten minutes (which includes the five minute break between the first car police car escort and the first parade entry.)  The highlight of the trip was getting free hot chocolate as we walked back to the car.  Lochlin buried his nose in the cup to the point that you couldn't see his face, and he refused to move (blocking the hot chocolate line) until he finished.

  1. You know what I think would make for a great blog? First, yuo create a blog. You write just enough posts in it that your friends start following it. Then you go about 20 years without posting anything. Then you move to Alaska. The you create a second blog based on your Alaskan adventure. Then you write just enough posts in it that your friends start following it. Then you go about 20 years without posting anything...

Oh wait... You're already way ahead of me.
