Kincaid Park - Anchorage

16 Oct 2010 - After sourdough pancakes and a biscuits and gravy breakfast at Harley's Old Thyme Cafe, we continued our quest of "making peace with winter" (advice given to us by Lt Gen Harding at our JASOC dining out).  So we went to Kincaid Park, which is south of the main airport and the western most point of Anchorage.  Our goal was to get down to the coast, but we got sidetracked by the wildlife pictured below.  GPS coordinates - N61 09.232 W150 03.302

Bullwinkle - just feet from the car

Another Bullwinkle (and Kj)

Loch and Austin - don't they look like drunk Russians?

Kj calls this the "refugee" picture

Can you see the moose?  Kj spotted it from farther back than this.

Mom points out the moose

Dad points out the moose (after Mom pointed it out to him of course)

Bullwinkle!

Bearfooting - off the beaten path
