An attempt to make you all jealous of our Alaskan adventure

Thunderbird Falls - Chugach State Park
3 Oct 2010 - Took our first exploration into Chugach State Park, our new backyard. It is the third largest state park in the United States at a half-million acres. This particular hike was a one-mile trail to the 200 foot Thunderbird Falls through a birch forest on steep hillside overhanging Eklutna Canyon. GPS coordinates (trail head) - N61 26.953 W149 22.213
Wow! Austin DOES look thrilled to be hiking! About as thrilled as our kids are.
