Matanuska Glacier - Alaska
22 Sep 2010 - Our final "get out and stretch your legs" stop before Anchorage was the Matanuska Glacier, which according to the always trustworthy Wikipedia is the largest glacier in the United States that is accessible by car. While we were a little surprised to learn there is an entrance fee to a glacier, it was still fun to go climb on it. GPS coordinates - N61 46.716 W147 45.894
